Bio
Samuel N. Shields is the current Director of Operational Excellence at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Value Institute. In his role as Director, Sam provides leadership and strategic planning for the Institute and its Learning Center. He is responsible for developing programs and partnerships to improve patient outcomes. Sam has a history in chemical manufacturing and supply and obtained his BSCHE in Chemical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts. He also has an MBA in Finance from West Texas A&M University and is currently doing his second MBA, in Health Care and Delivery Science, through Dartmouth College.
